Can I create my own menu? Yes, our menu is not limited. As the event planner, you have the ability to work with our catering team and chef when planning your event. From the linens and centerpieces to entertainment and food, we can do it all. A full-course meal is not required. The Civic Center can provide a simple cocktail reception or light hors d’oeuvres for your social gathering.

Can guests stay close to the Civic Center? Yes, the Civic Center is conveniently reached from Highway 60-70-84 and the Clovis Regional Airport. There are more than 1,000 hotel rooms within minutes of the facility.

Is there a charge for parking? No, we have FREE parking spots on facility grounds including ample ADA spots. The neighboring facility of Clovis Community College provides additional space during weekend hours.

How early should I book the Clovis Civic Center for my reception?
As early as possible. Weddings and other events tend to book months, even a year or more in advance.

How much is a wedding reception at the Clovis Civic Center?
Since there are many variables and options available at the Clovis Civic Center, there is no set price. Please call our Event Sales Manager at 575.935.5009 to discuss your event and for more information.

Will I need to hire an outside wedding coordinator for my reception?
No, the Clovis Civic Center has a professional sales manager that specializes in planning and orchestrating wedding receptions. They will assist you from your initial phone call to the cutting of your cake. The entire Clovis Civic Center staff will work to make your reception special.

Will there be a caterer for the reception?
Yes, the Clovis Civic Center has an award-winning chef that works with the catering team to provide you with a customized menu. Whether you want a casual buffet dinner or a 5-course sit-down dinner, the Civic Center staff will make it work.

We are located in the heart of Clovis, New Mexico. Only 8 miles from the Texas border. The exact address is 801 Schepps Blvd., Clovis, NM 88101.

We have ample parking in our newly paved lots, located outside the main and West entrances. Parking is always FREE.

For event bookings, call our Event Sales Manager at (575) 935-5009, or click here to fill out a request for proposal. Once you have decided to go with our venue for your event, our Event Sales Manager will send you a rental agreement and our policy document for your review and signature. We require a deposit and signatures on the rental agreement and our policy document in order to make your room reservation.

The initial payment of $500.00 of the SECURITY DEPOSIT is hereinafter referred to as “FIRST DEPOSIT.. The payment of the remaining balance of the SECURITY DEPOSIT is hereinafter referred to as “SECOND DEPOSIT.” FIRST DEPOSIT due upon signing of rental agreement. SECOND DEPOSIT due upon receipt of Invoice or at conclusion of event. As per our Policy Document: In the event of cancellation for any reason, the Clovis Civic Center will retain the entire deposit amount. Any cancellation received more than 30 days prior to the scheduled event will result in a fee equal to 25% of the estimated food and beverage charges plus any base rental fees as outlined in the License Agreement. Any cancellation received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled event will result in a fee equal to 50% of the estimated food and beverage charges plus any base rental fees as outlined in the License Agreement. Any Cancellation received within 5 days of the scheduled event will result in a fee equal to 100% of the charges on the food and beverage work orders or License agreement, whichever amount is greater.”

As per our Food & Beverage policy: “The Clovis Civic Center exhibitors may distribute Food & Beverage Samples in authorized space and must not be in competition with products manufactured or sold by the company exhibiting. Free samples are limited to 2 ounces of non-alcoholic beverages and 2 ounces of a food sample. Exact descriptions of sample and portion size must be submitted to The Clovis Civic Center’s Office for written approval 14 days prior to the opening of the event. The distribution of alcohol and or beverage samples requires special considerations and must have written approval of the General Manager. Free alcohol samples are limited to one ounce of wine or malt and .5 ounces of liquor or spirits. All beverages to be served as free samples must be delivered to The Clovis Civic Center via a reputable alcohol distributor that must provide a “zero” invoice for all sample product. Any exhibitors giving away and/or selling food in their booth must have a permit and all appropriate fees on file with the City of Clovis Department of Health.”
